As someone who works in the profession I don’t normally leave reviews. I think maybe because I am just sympathetic to all restaurant staff and at some point or another have been in their shoes. With that being said, everything we ate and drank today was honest, delicious, cooked very well, seasoned properly and served correctly. Service was great too! Would I come back? absolutely. Would I recommend to others to go eat? absolutely. Kudos to the White Lily Team. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had high hopes for White Lily Diner, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of frustrating. The biggest issue? Their complete disregard for their own waitlist. After putting my name down and patiently waiting well beyond the quoted time, I watched as multiple parties—who arrived after me—were seated first. When I politely inquired, I was met with an eye roll and a dismissive response from the staff. Speaking of the staff—rude doesn’t even begin to cover it. Instead of a simple apology or even an acknowledgment of their mistake, they acted like I was the problem for expecting basic fairness. The level of unprofessionalism was astounding. A place that prides itself on being a cozy neighborhood spot should understand that hospitality matters just as much as the food. I won’t be giving this place another chance. There are plenty of great diners in the city that actually respect their customers—White Lily Diner is not one of them. Avoid unless you enjoy being ignored and treated with open hostility.
